1.Temperature Knob
The device’s temperature knob regulates the temperature of the frying oil. To properly make a funnel cake, the fryer has to be set to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.Red Pilot Light
Indicates unit has power, is turned on and heating. When the oil reaches your desired temperature, the light will go off but will come back on if the temperature drops, indicating that it is re-heating the oil to your desired temperature.

3.Heating elements
Like a regular electric stove in your kitchen, these are the elements the electric power heats to warm the cooking oil. The intensity of the heat produced by these coils is regulated by the temperature knob up top.

4.Cabinet Assembly
Container where you pour the frying oil to make a funnel cake. This particular fryer can safely hold up to 25 pounds of oil.

5.Oil drain
After finishing the day at a local festival or special event at your church, you need to drain the used oil out of the fryer. Connect a hose or place a container underneath and let your old frying oil drain out of the unit.
